Startup Review Blog
Nisan Gabbay brought his blog, Startup Review, to my attention. He writes analyses (“The study of such constituent parts and their interrelationships in making up a whole.”) of successful online companies. I hope he can keep his blog going because it provides interesting and useful information. After a while, he may run out of successful companies to profile. :-)
Here’s his current lineup:
Do check it out!

I checked out the site the other day.
I love the idea, a very interesting topic and a great resource for other startups to turn to for ideas on what might help them.

Hi Mike,
I believe that we have finally fixed the Firefox bug on Startup Review. Please let me know if you are having problems.
Guy - thanks again for helping to get the word out.
Best,
Nisan

What a pity the site is (still, after weeks) so screwed up for viewing in Firefox. Layout is totally off to the right, making it basically unreadable. Pity - it looks like good stuff.

Guy,
I am not sure if you have an assitant going through the comments and you get a briefing at the end of the day, or something like that. Obviously you must be an extremely busy person and I am just a measly IT professional. However, whether my comments get lost in the thick pile of comments you get everyday or not, I just wanted to say that I enjoy reading your blog and has helped me out a lot!
peace to you,
Prakash

Hi Guy,
Read the one on Newegg, great stuff. Will read some more later. Thanks for steering us over to Nisan's site. He has put some good thought into it.
Cheers,
Kempton

It's brilliant and sharp.
Since it's all about analysis (and not success) he can always turn to failure ... an endless hole ;-)
PS: craiglist is particularly good.
