Salesforce Developer Conference

Salesforce Developer Conference Registration.jpg

I’ll be speaking at the Salesforce Developer Conference on Monday. This is a free event. I learned something recently: Salesforce.com is really a software-as-service “platform” that has applicability beyond “salesforce automation.” Ergo, this conference is also for software entrepreneurs. Hope to see you there.

My apologies for the hiatus. I was on vacation the last few weeks, but luckily for me returned just in time for last Monday's Developer Conference in Santa Clara. It was a cathartic experience. The standing room-only ballroom was packed [Read More]

Sorry, will miss the event this year. I had an opportunity to work with Salesforce team on their On-demand Salesforce automation platform.

Guy,
I know you can address a crowd - I was at the January 2006 UCLA/Tech Coast Angels event where you spoke. The question still remains: was everyone there to see you or the Fast-Pitch Finalists? I was a co-winner in two categories in case you forgot!

Hi Guy,

Great news on the conference, i just found out it was... free! Last time i went to Cali conference it was Blackboard, Inc and almost $700.00! Congrats on the speaker slot and ascent into the world of success on demand. http://ThunkDifferent.com

I'm sorry that I won't be able to attend this, but I'm looking forward to your observations. We're reviewing salesforce as a possible next step in recruiting tools (applicant tracking system) at our company. While it is still being put together, the flexibility to truly develop what will enable the business move faster and at our pace (versus paying a consulting fee) is quite interesting

It would be great to hear your thoughts regarding salesforce and how budget constrained entrepreneurs can use their platform. I just left Microsoft after working in their business solutions groups for about a year. Salesforce did a great job in building a user base quickly and gave MS a lot of heartache as they rushed to go to market with their own software as a service offering.

hopefully there will be enough time for some q&a. at last speaking arrangements, you seem hard pressed to get the heck out of there. but, i certainly don't blame you. my family's important to me too. honestly though, i think that's just an excuse. i think you don't want to get cornered by a bunch of a crazed entrepreneurs. (again, i don't blame you!)

Guy,
I saw your presentation at TIA in Vegas last month (Your run-down of the idiotic things the travel industry puts people through was priceless by the way).

I'm adding your blog to my list of regular stops.

I suppose that now with WSJ's Lee Gomes endorsement you will have a much larger audience.

*************

Roger,

You think I need the WSJ to draw a large audience? :-)

Guy
