Video from Fake Steve Jobs Interview

FSJ.jpg Here’s the place to get video clips from my interview with Dan Lyons, aka “Fake Steve Jobs.” This is one of the funniest interviews I’ve ever done—if I do say so myself. There are a boatload of inside jokes going on, though. If you need joke support, just post a comment.

That's not a fake video, but a great interview. I agree with Linda, Dan Lyons is someone I'd love to meet.

Is anyone else totally in love with Dan Lyons? It was so apparent to me that he is smart, sharp and witty. Even better, he wrote FSJ like he talks. He writes like he is conducting a compelling conversation . . the kind of person I want to have lunch with, or would find myself rudely eavesdropping on if he was at the next table at Starbucks.

Here's an example of an insidious use of the same tactic - http://anythinggoesmarketing.blogspot.com/ - but in this example, Eloqua is selling out the secrets of it's clients' creative tactics in order to promote themselves. Personally, I don't think it's cool - and they do it all the time - but I'd like to hear your thoughts Guy.

Thats really interesting fake personality...

I have to admit, I never bothered to much attention to the Fake Steve Jobs posts when they were happening, but these stories on the video are funny if you follow the happenings of Apple and the real Steve Jobs. Thanks for posting these.

Hooorah! Thanks Guy.

I still don't get it... why not just make his life interesting instead of assuming another personality. I don't understand why the audience is laughing so much at... what kind of koolaid where they serving?

Jon
