Pictures from My Reign in Spain

DSC_3366.jpg

Just returned from my first visit to Barcelona, Spain. Here are pictures from the trip.

  • Mercat de la Boqueria. I’ve been to some cool markets in my life, but la Boqueria set a new standard for me. It was my favorite place in Barcelona. Can you pick out the bull’s balls? Andrew Zimmern would be proud.

  • Antoni Gaudi was a Catalan modernist architect. These pictures are from three of his buildings: Casa Vicens, Sagrada Familia, and Parc Güell. Talk about being ahead of your time!

  • The reason I went to Barcelona was to speak at the QlikView conference. This is the most well-merchandised conference I’ve been to as these pictures will show you.

  • This is the best hotel room I’ve ever had in my life; I stayed at the Barcelona Arts Hotel.

  • Here is a gallery of other photos that I took during my visit. I learned one thing for sure: There’s no such thing as too much paella!
